Chamonix Village

The jewel of the Alps and the best known ski and climbing village in the world.

Enjoy an unparalleled mix of skiing terrain, from beginner and great intermediate skiing to extreme off piste skiing and always with the incredible back drop of the highest mountain in Europe - Mont Blanc.

Chamonix is equally famous for its views, restaurants and of course night life

If your sophisticated or wild at heart or even both, Chamonix is the Village for you.  Unlike many alpine resorts Chamonix is equally as attractive in winter or summer with its packed street restaurants and bars offering an almost Mediterranean ambiance.

The Mont Blanc Vallee Pass opens up the possibilities of the whole of the Mont Blanc Vallee Region. From the Italian Ski team's practice site, Megeve, Chamonix, Les Houches, La Tour to the extreme skiing capital of Argentiere, all is accessible on a single Ski pass.

The valley is approximately 18 km long with Les Houches at the Western end, Les Bossons, Aguilles de Midi in the middle, then La Flegere, Brevant, with Argentiere & La Tour at the far Eastern end.

Chamonix is world famos for some of the highest skiing in Europe including the most exciting and demanding 25 kilometre Vallee Blanche (Mont Blanc) glacier run.

But of course most skiers come to Chamonix for the great intermediate skiing and the best ski mountain views in the world.
