Explore National Parks

Many of the most splendid Parks are within drive of Wildfire Lodge.  Whilst three of these can be visited within a day, most guests plan an overnight stop in a lodge or motel to make the most of the magnificent scenery.  Probably the best known ( and a 5 da/6 day round trip) is Grand Canyon, but do try to visit some of the others, as each portrays its own particular beauty.   To name just a few:-  Rocky Mountain National Park,  Arches, Canyonlands,  Monument Valley, Capitol Reef,  Mesa Verde*,  Zion*  and Bryce Canyon.*   * Our Favourites.

Explore 4x4 Back-trailing

If you hire a 4x4 (or even join a 4x4 tour) you can experience  driving the old back trails - Try the back trail Vail to Leadville for a great day out!
