For the skiing, the food and the hot tub’’ And that big old question… Why did we call our first two chalets Wildfire? Well it sort of goes like this, I (Hazel) designed our chalet in Vail to be as Alpine as we could get with local planning restrictions. One of my favourite songs and a one off hit in the UK, was ‘ Wildfire’ Performed by Michael Martin Murphy. Having seen him perform the song many times at his famous West Fest in various locations throughout Colorado, the name just would not go away. Our new chalet— Eagle Lodge in Ridge Breckenridge — Perhaps named after a John Denver song?
When you get to the Colorado the incredible live music in bars and restaurants just gets you going! Of course they do have both types of music, yep - Country and Western:) |

Fabulous food, beautiful location – every shot looks great – easy to do when you’re surrounded by stunning scenery. We’ll be back for another holiday ….I mean work trip very soon.
