From Denver International Airport; Follow signs out of the airport for I-70 West (towards Grand Junction). Eagle Lodge Stay on the I-70 until Exit 203. FRISCO & BRECKENRIDGE Follow Highway 9 for approx 9.5 miles. You will see a ‘Welcome to Breckenridge’ sign – built like part of a wall. Continue on Highway 9 until you see a sign indicating Main Street straight on and Highway 9 (Truck Route) filtering to the right. Take the right hand turn off; go straight across the first set of lights; road bends a little to left; filter right at next lights – Ski Hill Road. Follow the road, (there is a very sharp left bend). You will pass signs on the RHS for Nordic Centre; look out for some very yellow coloured condos’ a bus stop and then North Woods Lane is the next on the right. There is a stone on the corner marked ‘Boulder Ridge’. EAGLE LODGE is the first on the left, with large Log features. Allow one and a half hours for this journey depending on Weather. |

From Denver International Airport; Follow signs out of the airport for I-70 West (towards Grand Junction). Wildfire Lodge Stay on the I-70 until Exit 167. (Note: Junction numbers run and are actual miles from the State border - East to West). At exit 167 go around the roundabout and under the Interstate – I70. Go straight across the next roundabout and, at the third, (With big Horses) turn right, (in front of 1st Bank of Avon) into West Beaver Creek Boulevard. Continue on WBC Boulevard for a short distance and you will pass the Sheraton on the left and Comfort Inn on the right hand side. There is a road on the left, go past this junction and Wildfire Lodge is the fourth on the left – Number 228 w. Allow two hours for this journey depending on Weather. We suggest you take a break at DownIeville Exit 234, about half way from Denver if you have had a long flight!! Starbucks - adjacent to DownIeville Garage! From Vail Eagle Airport: Follow signs for I-70 East (Denver) until junction 167. Turn right, off the slip road. At the next roundabout, turn right in front of 1st Bank then as above. Allow 35 Minutes for this Journey. |
