Chamonix  Nights — Apres Ski

Chamonix Bars and clubs

Chamonix is a true all year round après party town…

Of course its much better to discover Chamonix for yourself, but just to get you going…

Best Restaurant in town—ok subjective but our recommendation is Restaurant Impossible.

(Right next door to ‘The Jekyll’ —see below)

‘The Jekyll’’ – World famous crazy Irish Pub and restaurant.

The Jekyll has that magic touch that made you feel instantly at home. Brilliant menu served by

‘’The Jekyll Babes’’  + Guinness!

Chambre Neuf – Just opposite the station

Swedish run bar and Hotel - The bar is one of the places both the English and Swedish locals meet and is a great place to get to know what’s happening in Chamonix.

Le Privilege  on Rue des Moulin's. Think a touch of class some African cosmopolitan furnishings with deep cane chairs, great cocktails and mellow atmosphere, attracting a slightly more mature crowd with deep pockets - Live acoustic bands and regular imported DJ nights for people who want to dance.

Le Cantina Club has late nights and a underground music scene that brings in DJs from around the world which makes it a favorite spot for the younger crowd. Above the club is the Le Cantina restaurant which serves authentic Mexican food.

BPM Night Club is the place to be if you like your nightlife a little more risqué. The club frequently books acts like the Coyote Girls and Chippendales.

Buschwacker Argentiere only Nightclub – open to am. It has regular DJ nights, a big screen T.V., and pool table.

MBC Canadian-owned micro-brewery lively bar, with good cheap bar food on the road out of Cham to Argentiere makes five varieties of beer.

Le Lapin Agile an intimate café and wine bar, is an oasis of French tranquility in a largely British storm.

As the evening progresses, party animals up the ante in the South Bar in Chamonix Sud, a raucous watering hole favored by young Swedes, then finish up in Le Garage  a club in the same ownership as Le Privilege at the Aiguille du Midi cable-car station.

In Argentière, the best option is The office Bar  – frequented by both skiers and chalet staff

Le Choucas is one of the interesting après ski bars in Chamonix. - Really cool with the two video walls showing Extreme Sports, Skiing, Snowboarding and Roller Blading. This is great to watch whilst chatting after a long day Hiking or climbing

Le Garage  - Chamonix’s Best Disco Don't even think about going there until after 11..30 Lingerie show at 1 am

Bar du Moulin is great or try  The Office or Le Tricouni which has great atmosphere, and cheap brew.

Try ... The Ice-Rock. A venerable night club with the back side of a 63 Cadillac sticking out of one wall. Try the Samoyed for good American style hospitality.

Restaurants:

There’s something to suit every palate. Many restaurants offer local specialities from the Savoy area.

La Bergerie great food cooked over a wood fire

Le Pitz don’t let the name put you off. Whilst known for it’s great pizzas, it is also somewhere the Locals like to eat because of the authentic country cooking specialities.  Just next to the Saturday morning market - great for lunch.

Try the Casino - Play roulette and fine dining
