From smart clothing stores; ski/boarding gear; great books; gifts the streets are lined with great shops most of which stay open till late, giving you plenty of time to browse. Just a few minutes away are the Factory outlet stores at Silverthorne for famous brand names Nike, Wrangler, Tommy Hilfiger all at rock bottom prices.
Your hosts will keep you up to date on local events, which happen throughout the season.
First for many is the Vans Triple Crown Snowboard Event which takes place at the beginning of December. If you are in Breckenridge in January, don't miss the week long Ullr Fest where Breckenridge honours the mythical Norse god of Snow, Ullr - could this be why snow conditions are so fantastic? A zany time.
Getting around

Heaps of things to do if you do not ski or board and for all ages: snowmobiling above the tree line or through wooded trails; dog sled rides huddle under a blanket or mush your own sled and team of dogs - the choice is yours! There's also ice skating, tubing or enjoy a romantic relaxing sleigh ride
