Vail - We arrived in a powder snow storm... unpacked in a fab room and then had a superb dinner prepared by chef Mark. The following day we skied Beaver Creek then soaked in the hot tub - this set the scene for the next 10 days. Booked again for next year Jane B. Glasgow

And that big old question… Why did we call our first two chalets Wildfire? Well it sort of goes like this, I (Hazel) designed our chalet in Vail to be as Alpine as we could get with local planning restrictions. One of my favourite songs and a one off hit in the UK, was ' Wildfire' Performed by Michael Martin Murphy. Having seen him perform the song many times at his famous West Fest in various locations throughout Colorado, the name just would not go away.
Our new chalet-- Eagle Lodge in Ridge Breckenridge -- Perhaps named after a John Denver song?
When you get to the Colorado the incredible live music in bars and restaurants just gets you going!
Of course they do have both types of music, yep - Country and Western:)
